I am so guilty of generalizing. So guilty. But it’s something I’m really trying to change; knowing that the majority of people are good and that my rants aren’t going to change the mindset of the few people that annoy me with their small minds. reminding myself of the goodness in mankind.

Generalizations are pretty much my day to day life, as a survivor, and someone who struggles still. I know we’ve talked about that.

I’m constantly telling my Mom to focus on the good rather than the bad. She tells me about these horrible stories she sees on the news, and I say, “You should probably turn OFF the news more often.” I try to convince her that there are still plenty of good people in this world, and I believe it is a majority. She says she knows, but I usually have to repeat it at some point in subsequent conversations.

I dislike generalizations, too, and if you or anyone catches me doing it, I hope you’ll call me on it.

I had a visitor the other day that found my blog through a search that is my favorite so far: “Fuck this I’m moving to Canada.” LMAO!
